Due to skyrocketing gas prices and the prospect of an astronomical heating bill this winter I decided we would forgo putting in the air conditioners this year and live with the heat. Thankfully we have had a very nice, cooler than usual summer so our suffering has been kept to a minimum. Today, however, is not a nice cool day. Here is what the mother of the house looks like on this lovely warm day in the main floor of the house-

Very hot, sticky, and sweaty. Ick!!
We do have a finished basement though, where the temperature is at least 10 degrees cooler and that is where the rest of the family is spending the afternoon!
