Rainy Sunday
Rainy days don't keep us shut up in the house. No sirree!! They just provide an opportunity for alternative play! :o)
Do you know any child who doesn't love to spend the day in the rain with an umbrella?
Can't you just hear the rain on Brianna's umbrella? What a great sound!
The bridge-Another source of enjoyment!
A sudden downpour!
This is our newly completed garden plot. Isn't it lovely?
Meg.
Regardless of whether you like to play in the rain or not, who can complain when the outcome looks like this?

Kate goes solid!
Kate had her first official meal last night. She has had a taste of things here and there, but not a whole meal all her own. I commited a cardinal sin and started her not on a single grain cereal (gasp!) but on rice with mixed fruit. Mmmmm, she thought it was yummy! I should also mention that Kate was exactly 5 months old yesterday! What a big girl! :o)
The mess making has begun!

Confession
I have been procrastinating dear readers. Every time I think about blogging I cringe. Not because I don't enjoy writing about our lives and sharing pictures with you, but because I got a new camera. Yes, I am serious. My camera is the reason for the slowdown in my blogging. Not because I don't love my camera-I really do (although I confess I still don't know how to use half the functions on it). No, it's because the pictures it takes are such high quality, they take forever to upload to this blog and frankly, it drives me crazy. So as with many things in life, I get behind and then feel overwhelmed and keep putting it off. :o/ But as you can see, I am here today and going to attempt to, not catch up-No, that would be a bit much at this point, but to attempt to stay current. Stay tuned. ;o)

MACHE
We're off to the MACHE conference tomorrow! One of my favorite times of the year! I always come home feeling refreshed and so happy that we have chosen homeschooling for our family. And lets face it, I (like most homeschool moms) love, love, love looking at curriculum and there is an overwhelming abundance of it at the curriculum fair! :o)
